Andrea Burelli

Andrea Burelli is a Venetian composer, multi-instrumentalist, poet, singer, visual artist, and educator that has been based in Berlin since 2009. Her compositional work spans avant-garde, ambient, electroacoustic, and experimental electronics, receiving support from prestigious institutions such as Musikfonds, Initiative Musik, the Spatial Sound Institute in Budapest, Moog Instruments, Goethe Institut, and Amplify Berlin.

Described by Field Notes as a versatile artist bridging multiple disciplines and compared by Groove Magazine to Marina Herlop, her work has garnered praise from notable figures, including Warp artists Darkstar, PAN artists Rashad Becker and Eartheater, Morphine Raum founder Rabih Beaini, drone expert Abul Mogard, and ambient master Gigi Masin.

Her music has been released on all physical formats by independent labels such as Rohs!, Lontano Series, and American Dreams Records. A resident DJ at Refuge Worldwide, she has also contributed podcasts to Rinse France, Cashmere Radio, Reboot.FM, and Rádio Quântica.
