Elsa Shelelé

Elisabetta Zerazion aka Elsa Shelelé dj is an environmental scientist as well as a music enthusiast. And the thread that binds her passions nature and music is research, which she uses as an invitation to radically rethink history, interweaving voices and perspectives that expand and transform conventional narratives; because the stories we tell and the voices we hear are not neutral. In doing so, she hopes to take more space in places where black women's voices have been excluded and marginalised by actively contributing to the construction of cultural and social identities. She currently lives in Berlin and brings with her the experience of an Eritrean woman who grew up in Europe.
