Nehemias Colindres

Nehemias Colindres is a Salvadorian-American filmmaker based in Berlin. His work explores themes of identity, migration, and mental health through award-winning short films like Jornada al Norte and Jung, which centers on Turkish youth culture in Berlin. He’s currently writing his debut feature Vida Eterna, a film that delves into religion and immigration. Outside of filmmaking, Nehemias is a post-punk obsessive, a metalhead at heart, who still believes that Sepultura is the greatest band of all time.
