With Annett Scheffel, and Aida Baghernejad
What’s the second-best thing about music? Talking about it with like-minded music lovers!
»Everything is everything« is a show dedicated to deep conversations about the music we feel passionate about and about personal connections.
With 2025 set to be another challenging year in politics, let’s kick things off by highlighting the political and social power of music. Annett and her guest, journalist Aida Baghernejad, talk about music as a form of protest. How do songs express utopian ideas and bring people together? Which ones have influenced us the most? And do they have a real impact on the world?
Fight the power!
Aida Baghernejad is an award winning culture writer, podcaster, and moderator. She is particularly interested in popular culture and its intersections with the political, whether they’re found in sound, on a plate, in film, between the pages, or on a stage. Last summer, she spent five months in the US as a Thomas Mann Fellow to investigate the intersections between pop culture and the political sphere during election season 2024. She usually lives in Berlin, sometimes in London, but mostly on the internet.
